Crius vs QuickNode for Robinhood Chain
QuickNode gives you the raw chain: JSON-RPC with full archive, debug and trace APIs and Streams to pipe blocks, logs and traces into your own system. Crius is the indexed result of that work: decoded trades, candles, holders, launchpads and security as API calls.
Checked against QuickNode's public documentation in October 2026. Sources are listed below.

Choose QuickNode if…
- You're building your own indexer and want archive, debug/trace and Streams as inputs.
- You need to send transactions or simulate calls.
- You need raw data Crius doesn't model (arbitrary contracts).
Choose Crius if…
- You want the indexed output (trades, candles, holders, PnL, launchpads) without running the pipeline.
- You want history from block 0 already decoded and joined.
- You want trades attributed to the real trader, and honeypot and tax checks.
Using both is common: an RPC or multi-chain provider for writes and other chains, Crius for Robinhood Chain market data.
Crius vs QuickNode: questions
Do I need QuickNode if I use Crius?
Only if you write to the chain or need raw RPC data. For reading market data, Crius is enough.
Can QuickNode give me OHLCV candles for a token?
Not as an indexed API: you'd stream swap logs (for example through Streams) and aggregate candles yourself. Crius serves candles directly.
